War of the Burning Sky

First session!

The first session is over and after the pre-adventure vignettes, Adria, Torgar and Aramar were all left to the elements by the Black Horse bounty hunters. They stumbled back into town and eventually met up with Tempest, Vel and Aelrin, who were interested in joining the local resistance. The intrepid heroes managed to evade capture at the Poison Apple Pub, where they met Torrent. They tried helping local citizens in need of aid during the firebombing, with less than stellar results, and were able to capture Larion (in disguise as Rivereye) at the depository. Aramar made an agreement with the thief, who spoke to him in High Court Eladrin, forcing the others to only guess at the conversation. They let him escape, as per the deal brokered with Aramar, much to Rivereye’s dislike. The case they were after was nowhere to be seen, but Rivereye believed that associates of Larion had taken it, probably to Gabal’s School. Afterwards, they were headed towards the safe house beneath the Temple of the Aquiline Cross when they witnessed a spectacular aerial battle and saw a Ragesian Wyvernrider crash into a nearby house. Inside, they confronted Flaganus Mortus, who had slain the occupants, and dealt him death. They then retreated to the safe house, met Buron Watcher, a high-ranking cleric in the resistance, and settled in for the night…after paying Buron to remove the frostbite from Torgar and Adria!

First Vignette is ready!

I just finished writing up the first pre-campaign vignette for our WotBS campaign! I’ll try to get the second one written up tonight as well.

I dissected the War of the Burning Sky Players Guide and wiki-fied it all. This provides us with an online resource for the game, in the event we need to check something and don’t have access to the guide. Likewise, it will be quasi-encyclopedic once the campaign is in full swing!

Campaign Set Up
Setting the stage

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, we have the adventure log.

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

Today I set up the campaign page, added a map and the first NPC we’ll meet, Torrent
